Responsibilities
- • Own CI/CD pipelines, environments, and deployment standards
- • Implement Infrastructure as Code and environment consistency
- • Set observability baselines: metrics, dashboards, alerts, tracing patterns
- • Improve security posture: secrets management, least privilege, audit trails
- • Create runbooks and incident response workflows with postmortems
Requirements
- • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automated deployments
- • Strong understanding of monitoring/alerting and reliability tradeoffs
- • Comfortable with Linux, networking basics, and secrets management
- • Ability to document operational standards and mentor teams
Nice to have
- • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) or managed equivalents
- • FinOps cost optimization experience
- • Experience with zero-downtime migrations or high availability patterns
